The rocking country sound of Wiley will have everyone shining up their boots and two-stepping all night long. Wiley is a 6-piece country dance band with a blues/rock edge. Wiley gives a fresh polish to classic country songs by Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, country favorites like Steve Earle and Dwight Yoakum, and the new country grooves of Miranda Lambert and the Dixie Chicks. Wiley features two lead vocalists: Tracy Wright, whose life-long dream has been to head up a country band, and Mark Petri who has been singing professionally in Kamloops and the Lower Mainland for a number of years. Rod Bandura, who has performed for audiences across Canada as singer-songwriter and guitarist in Wasksueand the Henry Small Band, plays red-hot country licks on lead guitar. Leslie Collier’s mandolin lends a bluegrass flavor, and her dobro accents the country sound. Wiley's rhythm section features Leon Racicot on bass and vocals, and Raul Alcantara on drums. Wiley has performed at numerous venues and private functions in the Kamloops area, Merritt, and the South Thompson/Okanagan region, including the Rodeo Dances for the Falkland Stampede, Ashcroft Stampede, and the Pritchard Rodeo.
